Annual Ecology Meeting (NAEM)
The Netherlands Annual Ecology Meeting (NAEM) will be held on the 11th and 12th of February 2014 in Conference Centre De Werelt in Lunteren.
With this mail, we would want to announce that registration is open. For information on the programme, fees, and how to register, please click HERE (or see www.nern.nl/NAEM-2014). Please note that this site will be updated regularly with the latest information.
Please take note of the following:
1. Submission of presentations
Like previous years, the meeting consists of two plenary sessions and 4x4 parallel sessions. Sessions are led by conveners who are responsible for filling their session with 6 presentations (15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for discussion), one of which is given by one of the conveners or by a senior speaker who gives the birds-eye view on the topic. People wishing to present a paper in one of the parallel sessions, please contact one of the conveners of the session (email addresses are provided below the name in the programme on the website), submitting a title and abstract (max 250 words). Conveners will select the most applicable presentations. Selected and rejected applicants will be informed by the conveners by Early January 2014. Deadline for submission of presentations is the 6th of January 2014.
2. Submission of posters
Besides the plenary and parallel sessions, time has been allotted to two poster sessions. Moreover, at the end of the meeting the best poster will be selected and awarded with the NECOV Poster Prize. Those wanting to present a poster, please submit the title of your poster in the online registration form.
3. NERN Best Paper Award
Besides the Poster Award, NERN will be awarding the NERN Best Paper Award at the end of the meeting, This prize will be awarded to the best paper from a PhD thesis published in 2013. Deadline for submission of your paper is the 15th of January 2014.
